Portfolio - A Social Hub in Mira

Introducing this Kaiser kitchen in Mira, designed by Chiara Porcu that caters to homeowners who prioritise both cooking and entertaining. As the kitchen is the main focal point of their villa, the homeowners opted to expand the space, reallocating the original dining area to accommodate a cosy living room.

The kitchen features handleles Perfect Soft fronts in Matte Pearl Grey and Summer Oak laminate. At the heart of the kitchen lies a massive island, designed to accommodate up to 9 people on the low dining table and 3 people on the high seating area. Placing the hob and the Elica Tube hood on the island was a deliberate choice by the homeowners, allowing them to cook while socialising with guests and enjoying the outdoor space, which offers additional seating for family gatherings.

The inclusion of a beverage niche was essential for hosting drinks, strategically placed near the seating area to enhance the entertaining experience. To further amplify the sense of space, a mirror backsplash was installed.

To maintain a clutter-free environment, a dedicated pantry room was included to conceal and organise small appliances and other essentials. Sustainability was also a key consideration in the design, with the previous LG fridge and dishwasher seamlessly integrated into the kitchen layout, ensuring efficient use of resources.
